It is dominated by simple sugars, especially glucose and fructose. It also contains small amounts of water, proteins and amino acids. Of the vitamins, it is mainly C, A, B1, B2, B6, B12, D, K, E, as well as flavonoids, carotenoids, organic acids. The minerals and trace elements are potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sodium, chlorine, iron, silicon, magnesium, copper, sulphur and selenium. This sweet product of the bees also acts as a light source of energy usable for quick recovery of tired muscles and when the body is exhausted. Its thick syrupy consistency is very tasty. The honey we offer is from our own bees – directly from the beekeeper.
